October Florida Recap: NFFC Convention, Adventurers Club Dinner, New Releases and more

Hi everyone!

I had a great trip to central Florida last week, and accomplished all I set out to do. Below are the highlights of the trip:

2008 NFFC Florida Canvention:

This years NFFC Florida Convention was excellent as expected! Highlights included author David Koenig, who gave a highly informative and entertaining presentation on Epcot's World Showcase concepts that were never realized. Animation Legend Joe Hale (below right) gave an interesting and candid talk about working at the Disney Studios. His recollections included memories of Walt Disney and dealing with Jeffrey Katzenburg, Michael Eisner and more!

Another highlight was Ike Eisenmann (below left), who spoke about his work on the original Witch Mountain movies. He segued into his involvement with the upcoming "Race to Witch Mountain" film and his own animation company. A very special tribute to Disney Legend Ralph Kent featured emotional memories from Gary Sohmers and a panel of Ralphs friend and co-workers. This was followed by a spirited auction where some of Ralph's memorabilia was auctioned off by Mr Sohmers to benifit Ralph's estate.

The convention also included a tour of the Walt Disney World Merchandise Warehouse, the induction of three new NFFC legends: Hank Dains, Jess Rubio, Phil Smith and Gretta Verity. A very detailed talk about the history of the Adventurers Club from Disney historian Jim Korkis rounded out the convention and got everyone ready for the special event that followed!

The Adventurers Club Dinner:

When Pleasure Island opened in 1989, I was 22 years old. It was the perfect age to enjoy all that P.I. offered! That included the Comedy Warehouse, a variety of nightclubs - and the mysterious Adventurers Club. I enjoyed the Island on my frequent Disney trips, but was especially enamored with the interactive characters and atmosphere of the AC. When I found out about Pleasure Island's closing, I was especially saddened as I would not be able to visit the final night. Fortunately, I was given another chance to say goodbye with the NFFC during a wonderful evening as part of the Florida Convention.

I enjoyed a special evening with other NFFC members, who'd waited excitedly to enjoy the Club one last time. All the characters were in attendance, and even more interactive than usual due to the absence of the library shows.

We were treated to a hilarious New Member Induction Ceremony poking fun at all the "Disney Fanatics" in the room plus two Mask Room shows and two Treasure Room shows!

The actors seemed genuinely happy to host our group, and talked out of character a little more than usual at the end of the evening. Jim Korkis ended the eventful night with a final tribute to the Club and the performers (photo below of the cast posting for us).

It was an unforgettable evening, and I will truly miss this unique Disney experience. I hope it returns in some form in the future. For more photos of this very special event, please visit partner site MouseSteps.

I recently spent 3 days recording footage at Disney's Polynesian Resort for an upcoming DVD and screensaver release! Please feel free to email suggestions for a future resort title to: suggestions@JeffLangeDVD.com.

One of the highlights of the night is always the Boo-to you Halloween Parade. Mickey Mouse wishes you a Happy Halloween below!

Another not to be missed feature of the event is the Happy Hallowishes fireworks spooktacular!

JeffLangeDVD Travel Update, Disney's Vero Beach Resort, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party & Upcoming NFFC Florida Convention

Hi everyone!

I am less than 48 hours away from my yearly September trip to Walt Disney World. I will be recording video footage for future projects, including this years Trick or Treat 5! I'll also be exploring Disney's Vero Beach Resort which will be one of the last completely new Disney experiences that I've not enjoyed yet. I have heard great things about the resort, and look forward to giving a full report upon my return. (photos below © Disney)

One of the highlights of my year is the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! I can't believe that summer has ended so quickly, and that Halloween is just around the corner. I love the decor in the Magic Kingdom, and hope to see the hitchiking ghosts and the bride below again at the event!

NFFC Florida Convention:

I will be attending the upcoming 3rd annual NFFC Florida Convention and It sounds fantastic! This year, the convention takes place at the Regal Sun Resort (formerly the Grosvenor Resort Walt Disney World) at Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The dates are October 3rd through October 5th, 2008. The schedule has been released and is available HERE. (Highlights below)

"In case you haven't heard, Pleasure Island, Downtown Disney's nightlife fun spot at the Walt Disney World Resort, will be closing the week before the NFFC Florida Convention. Included among the clubs and restaurants set to be shuttered is the very popular Adventurer's Club, which just happens to be the location of the convention's closing night dinner party.

Fear not, the Walt Disney Company is honoring its commitment to the NFFC. This means attendees at this year's 3rd Annual NFFC Florida Convention will be among the last—maybe even the very last—Disneyana fans that get to experience this truly one-of-a kind Disney venue.

Join the fun as the NFFC, the place for Disneyana enthusiasts, bids a fond farewell to the Adventurer's Club. It promises to be a full evening featuring a buffet dinner, one of a kind in-depth tour of the Adventurer's Club, and some very special entertainment, especially designed for the Florida Adventurer.

At the conclusion of the Convention and Giant All Disneyana Show and Sale, the World Chapter, the convention host chapter, will host a special meeting at the Regal Sun Resort."

Main Street Electrical Parade Vintage Photos, Contest Update and DVD Check-off Sheet

Hi everyone!

During production of my recently released Main Street Electrical Parade DVD, I came across some interesting images of long retired floats and parade elements. I am presenting them here for all to enjoy!

Below is the Florida opening unit of the Main Street Electrical Parade, followed by Toy Soldiers from Babes in Toyland. As a kid, I thought this was a special Christmas bonus as we often traveled to Walt Disney World for the holidays. I remember seeing them one July and realizing they were always part of the parade.

Next we have the "It's A Small World" section that ran from 1977 - 1991. This was unique as it was the only float that was based on a park attraction.

This next series of photos is very rare. These photos were taken by my father in 1976 (when "America on Parade" was being performed). I don't recall ever seeing a Pinocchio Monstro float in the Main Street Electrical parade. Look carefully and you will see the large headed America on Parade characters driving the vehicles. Was this a nighttime version of America on Parade?

If anyone has more information about these parade units please email me at Jeff@JeffLangeDVD.com and I will post the information on the site.

Available now:

Thanks for the enthusiastic response to my latest title: Jeff Lange Remembers: The Main Street Electrical Parade!

The MiceChat Gumball Rally is an event which challenges you to ride a set of attractions in all four parks in just one day! The event is designed to see who can make best use of their time and transportation skills to complete the assigned attractions in the least amount of time possible. It promises to be a fun and unique way to visit the parks - all of them! Since the first Gumball Rally at Disneyland nearly 3 years ago, there have been constant requests to "Bring the Rally to Disney World," and that is just what we are going to do! Whether this is your first visit to WDW or your hundredth, this event was designed for you to have a great time. We hope you'll all join us. Thank you for another great response to my latest contest with partner site Mousesteps! The winner was Eric Hoffman of Georgia and he will receive a free Disneyland Anniversary DVD of his choice!

California 2008 Recap Part 2, The El Capitan Theater Experience in Hollywood

Sometimes a movie is just a movie. But other times, it can be a grand experience - which is exactly the point when visiting the majestic El Capitan Theater in Hollywood.

A group of us were invited to enjoy a showing of Wall-E a couple of weeks back. We’d all been to the theater previously - it’s hard for a Disney fan to resist when a new film opens here!

We planned to tour the theater prior to the show, but we were late and the tour was postponed until after the movie. We entered the auditorium to the sounds of the Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, which is quite a unique experience - so much more soothing than the normal barrage of commercials common to most theaters. Soon, the organist and the Wurlitzer sunk into the stage, and the live performance began

Disney’s Flight of Fantasy” is a stage show with a backdrop of favorite scenes from a wide variety of Disney/Pixar films. It is a visual treat! The performances include music, dancing, and a stage full of Disney characters.

This isn’t a review of the film, but I was very happy to get to see the wonderful Wall-E (another winner for Pixar) in such grandeur. Our VIP tickets afforded us reserved seating, popcorn and a beverage (the current price is $26.00 for the VIP experience). The standard seating tickets cost $16.00 for adults, and $14.00 for children and seniors.

We really enjoyed our tour of the El Capitan. Built in 1926, The Walt Disney Company and Pacific Theaters joined forces to restore the theater to it’s original glory. This included working with the National Park Service to preserve much of the detail of the original theater. It re-opened after a 2 year restoration in 1991 with the world premiere of Walt Disney Pictures’ “The Rocketeer”. The El Capitan has been showing Disney films (and of course Disney/Pixar movies) ever since. Inside the theater, there is a display of photos that follow the El Capitan from it’s heyday, through the restoration and includes photos of Disney premieres and celebrities.

During the Wall-E engagement (set to end on August 27th), the El Capitan also offers an interesting Nasa/JPL exhibit which includes replica’s of robotic vehicles such as the Pathfinder and Mars Phoenix Lander.

The El Capitan has seating for 1000 and a Dolby SR-D digital capable sound system.

Adjacent to the El Capitan Theater is Disney’s Soda Fountain and Studio Store. We didn’t try anything at the Soda Fountain, but the ice cream creations look wonderful!

If you are looking for a theatrical experience, and not just a movie - there is no substitute for seeing a Disney film at the El Capitan Theater.

For more information about the El Captian Theater visit their website at www.elcapitantickets.com, or call the the theater at (800) DISNEY6.

California 2008 Recap Part 1, Disneyland's 53rd Birthday, Sleeping Beauty Castle Announcement, Disneyland Dream Suite Preview & Production Update

Hi everyone!

I had such an unforgettable trip to California, with more unique experiences than I could possibly fit into one article. Look for weekly updates on my trip, which will include my photos (and thoughts on) the NFFC convention, as well as Club 33, Disney's Burbank Studios, El Capitan, the Disneyland Dream Suite, Comic Con, and so much more! Thank you to everyone who stopped by during the room-hopping and NFFC Show and Sale! I enjoyed meeting everyone and appreciate your support.

Disneyland's 53rd Birthday - Tony Baxter Announcement:

One of the highlights of my California trip each year is to celebrate the birthday of Disneyland. It really is a special day for me, and I was lucky to get to spend it this year with friends and at a special NFFC event! Normally the NFFC leaves the day completely open - but NFFC members were treated to a special announcement in the Lincoln Theater by Tony Baxter. It wasn't a surprise that the Sleeping Beauty walk-through was going to be reopened, it's been apparent for quite some time.

However, we not only were there for the official announcement of the "reawakened" version of the walk-through, but shown original artwork and models as well. Presenters were: Andy Siditsky, Sr. Vice-president of Walt Disney Home Entertainment, Tony Baxter, Sr. Vice-president of Walt Disney Imagineering, Chris Merritt, Art Director for WDI, and John Gritz, Technical Director for WDI.

"It is fitting that we are announcing the return of a classic on the 53rd anniversary of Disneyland," said Tony Baxter. With the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" approaching, Baxter said that the excitement around the movie created interest in the return of the Disneyland attraction.

The attraction is expected to open for the holiday season 2008, in tandem with Sleeping Beauty's 50th Anniversary. Or, as Tony Baxter stated "Before the autumn leaves fall, Sleeping Beauty will again walk the halls"

Disneyland's 53rd Birthday - Special Birthday Celebration:

As in previous years, the re-dedication ceremony was conducted by the Mayor of Main Street, flanked by Mickey Mouse and his friends.

During the ceremony Walt Disney's original opening day speech was played. "To all who come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here, age relives fond memories of the past... and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America... with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world."

Disneyland Dream Suite - Preview:

While covering the NFFC convention, I was one of 30 lucky winners to win a tour of the Disneyland Dream Suite for myself and one guest from designer Kim Irvine. The Disneyland Dream Suite includes a living room, open-air patio, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Please check back soon for a full report with photos from this very special location!

Production Update:

I am currently working on the following titles:

* Disneyland Resort After Dark

* Disneyland: The Sixties ("Class of" Series featuring attractions from 1960-1970)

* Complete Main Street Electrical Parade (WDW, DL, DCA)

* Walt Disney World: Resort Classics

* Walt Disney World Class of 1971

JeffLangeDVD hits the road, NFFC Disneyana National Convention, Disneyland Resort, Comic-Con Convention and More

Hi everyone!

It's hard to believe a year has passed since the last California NFFC Convention, but I'm packing my bags to attend next week! In addition to this special Disneyana event, I have a packed schedule which will include my first-ever Comic-Con convention.

NFFC National Convention:

The NFFC convention schedule has just been released and you can read it HERE. Legendary Imagineer Tony Baxter is a new addition to the schedule, as well as a very special appearance by Disney Legend Wally Boag. Wally will be joined by his son Laurence (who has inherited his fathers wonderful sense of comedic timing) as well as his friend Gene Sands. Gene is working with Wally on the book " Wally Boag: The Crown Prince of Disneyland".

I will be attending the entire convention and will have a table at the giant NFFC Disneyana Show and Sale. The sale date is Sunday, July 20th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Resort (12021 Harbor Blvd. Garden Grove, CA). If you are attending, please stop by and say hello (click HERE for a flyer with a $1.00 off coupon). I look forward to meeting everyone! I will also be opening my room at the convention hotel for room hopping on Saturday, July 19th. For more information about the NFFC please click HERE.

Disneyland's 53rd Anniversary:

One of the highlights of my yearly trip is to celebrate Disneylands Birthday! As a diehard Disneyland enthusiast (and Disney in general!), I'm known to never leave the park before closing - and July 17th is no exception. My Disneyland birthday tradition is to join my friends for a full day in the park, riding all of the opening day attractions from 1955.

Comic-Con:

This year will be my first at the frenetic Comic-Con International convention! For years, friends have been trying to drag me away from Disneyland to attend this huge event. I'll be covering the convention as part of JimHillMedia. Please check back here in late July for a full report on my experience!

JeffLangeDVD Production News:

Thank you to everyone who voted in the poll that my partner site Mousesteps ran! I was thrilled with the response, and you overwhelmingly favored a vintage WDW resort DVD series. I've been busy digitizing old footage, and getting it organized for editing. Look for a late summer/early fall release of my first vintage resort DVD! While in California, I will be recording video for upcoming DVD projects including a "Disneyland Resort, After Dark" title and the next in the "Disneyland, Class of" series! You can find other titles in that series in the JeffLangeDVD store.

Disneyland Anniversary DVDs - Available Now:

Just in time for Disneyland's 53rd Anniversary we have these title available now! Jeff Lange Remembers: Disneyland's 35th Anniversary, Jeff Lange Remembers: Disneyland's 40th Anniversary, Jeff Lange Remembers: Disneyland's 40th Birthday and Jeff Lange Remembers: Disneyland's 45th Anniversary!

Sneak Peek of Disney's Hollywood Studios Newest Attraction "Midway Mania".

Last night contributor and friend of the site Denise Preskitt was invited to a sneak preview of the new Midway Mania attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios. She was kind enough to send me these exclusive images from the preview that I will be sharing with you now.

I really like the attention to detail (shown above), right down to the brick design reminiscent of Pixar's headquarters in Emeryville, California

The queue looks fantastic with many little Disney and Pixar references!

I'm told that it's a very fun, interactive attraction that I'll want to ride again and again! I am looking forward to experiencing Midway Mania both at Disney's California Adventure in July (where I'll be attending the NFFC convention) and at Disney's Hollywood Studios this fall. I can't wait to see how the two attractions compare, down to the small details!

If you want to see even more great photos on this cool new attraction, please visit friends of this site MouseSteps.com.

Photo Memories #2: More From Animal Kingdom's 10th Anniversary, Collectors Edition DVDs, Upcoming Release Information.

Hi everyone!

Welcome back for more photos from Animal Kingdom's 10th Anniversary !

Featured here is some great concept art from Joe Rohde's presentation detailing the changes that were made in the original Animal Kingdom entrance plaza. Note the procession of animals in the left photo below. That concept was deemed unworthy due to the realization that animal backsides would often be included in guest photos.

Finally the shots below show early concepts for the Tree of Life and the huge amount of scaffolding used during construction.

This was a highly interesting presentation and I personally learned a great deal about the history, design and attention to detail of this great park!

Available Now:

Available now from the JeffLangeDVD Store in a very limited supply: Collectors Edition DVDs featuring Fantasyland Classics.

These DVDs Include an Actual Ride Piece and a 4x6 Color Photo suitable for framing. The Mr. Toad Edition includes a Bumper piece from actual "Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride" vehicles - The 20,000 Leagues Edition includes Seaweed from the " 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" lagoon.

April Trip Recap: Disney's Animal Kingdom's 10th Anniversary, Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival, Aquatica, Cypress Gardens and More.

Hi everyone!

I'm just back from another fantastic trip to Orlando! The weather was perfect, and I kept busy with a wide variety of parks and activities. I'm very excited about upcoming DVD releases that will stem from my visit!

The main purpose of my trip was the " Wild Decade" event for the 10th anniversary of Disney's Animal Kingdom. It did not disappoint! Just as I witnessed on the opening day, Joe Rohde and Jane Goodall were a large part of the opening activities.

Both Joe and Jane spoke eloquently about the park, and Joe also gave a wonderful presentation later in the Theater of the Wild. I was later treated to a VIP viewing of the Lion King show, complete with a meet with many of the performers. What a great day!

Thanks again to everyone at WDWCelebrations, It was a pleasure to meet all of you and I look forward to the "World Wide Weekend" in September!

I also enjoyed 2 and a half full days of Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival, taping for an upcoming DVD release. I am very excited about this project as I have not done anything like it before and it was challanging but fun to work on! (If you want to see even more great photos on these topics please visit friends of this site MouseSteps.com).

Not only did I spend time at Disney - Aquatica and Cypress Gardens helped fill out my schedule. Aquatica is a great addition to the Sea World parks, and Cypress Gardens is a wonderful slice of old Florida (don't miss the ski show!) The trip to Disney's Wilderness Preserve didn't go as planned - they were having a controlled burn that day, and the Preserve was closed.

Please check back soon for more information on my upcoming releases. As always, if you want to request a future DVD idea, Photo Memory topic or comment on anything, just drop me a line at suggestions@JeffLangeDVD.com.

Travel Update: Animal Kingdom's 10th Anniversary, Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival, Sea World's Aquatica and Cypress Gardens.

Welcome back!

In just under 24 hours, I'll be flying back to Florida for a fun-filled but busy schedule! This visit centers around the Animal Kingdom 10th Anniversary on April 22nd - also known as the Wild Decade. For more information on this special event, go to WDWCelebrations.

I've watched Disney's Animal Kingdom evolve from pre-opening visits to the wonderful experience it is today. I am looking forward to stepping into the park on April 22nd, just as I did on the same day 10 years ago. Much has changed since then! The photos below are from opening day including the Tree of Life in the early morning and my friend Angela with Imagineer and Animal Kingdom lead designer Joe Rohde.

The opening day dedication reads: Welcome to a kingdom of animals... real, ancient and imagined: a kingdom ruled by lions, dinosaurs and dragons; a kingdom of balance, harmony and survival; a kingdom we enter to share in the wonder, gaze at the beauty, thrill at the drama, and learn. - Michael Eisner April 22, 1998

The shots below are from the long retired "Discovery River Boats" and the original opening stage show, "Journey Into The Jungle Book".

The other major reason for the trip is to record the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival for a future DVD release. Look for more information on that soon! (Photo below courtesy of Denise form MouseSteps).

Rounding out the remainder of my time, I have invitations to visit Aquatica and Cypress Gardens with Jim Hill. I'll also be spending a morning at the Disney Wilderness Preserve, which is a 12,000 acre preserve located about a half hour from Walt Disney World. Much of this is new to me, except for Cypress Gardens (though it's been 25 or so years since my last visit!)

I am looking forward to updating everyone when I get back. This should be a fun and exciting (and extremely busy) trip for me!

While I am traveling you will still receive the same level of quality service and guaranteed 24 hr shipping you have come to expect from JeffLangeDVD. Please remember, if you want to request a future DVD idea, Photo Memory topic or comment on anything, just drop me a line at suggestions@JeffLangeDVD.com.

Upcoming Disney Fan Events - Production Update.

Welcome back for another update! I have been working hard on a yet-to-be announced release that I'm very excited about - keep checking back for more details. In the meantime, here is some information on upcoming Disney events that I plan to take part in!

Upcoming Disney Fan Events:

The first event is from WDWCelebrations (the folks who put together the big Epcot 25th Anniversary fan event). I will be attending this event with my good friend Jim Hill (he also has an article about it HERE). I look forward to it as we were both in attendance on opening day and have many interesting memories about this unique Disney park. If you are thinking of attending please note that as of last week there were only 30 spots left for the event! More information is below.

A Wild Decade:

WDWCelebrations is pleased to announce its first Commemorative Event, "A Wild Decade," in honor of Animal Kingdom's 10th Anniversary on April 22, 2008. Building on the success of Celebration 25, "A Wild Decade" will focus on unique experiences, including group rides, photos, meals, and other special events designed to bring Disney fans together to celebrate and enjoy each other's company. For more information be sure to visit the Official WDW Celebrations homepage.

Another great event I look forward to each year is the National Fantasy Fan Club Disneyana Convention. Some preliminary information has just been released (see below).

First Look at the NFFC 2008 California Convention Event Schedule:

The 2008 California Convention is still a few months away, but the Special Events Committee (SEC) is already busy getting things ready for what promises to be an exciting few days.

Here's what we can tell you so far. The dates of the California Convention are July 15th through July 20th. However, just before the Convention begins on Sunday July 13th, we have an event that is open to all NFFC members - the "Disneyland Tour of Downtown Los Angeles" with our good friend Charles Phoenix. For a more detailed description of this event and links to pictures and a video, check out this link. You will find the registration form here and in the February issue of the Fantasyline Express. Remember, seats are limited to the first 50 people who send in their registration.

As always, our meal events promise to be a highlight of the Convention. On Tuesday evening, July 15th, we will kick things off with our Welcoming Reception. This year, the entertainment will be provided by our own members, as we bring back an event from a few years ago: " Puttin' on the Disney Hits". This is where you get to lip sync to your favorite Disney songs or pay homage to a Disney Park attraction. (Who could forget the Electrical Parade tribute and of course our own Eric Roque and his special presentation of "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln"?). Get your "act" together and plan to be a part of the show! For further information, please contact Eric Roque at hartrock@psend.com.

The Collectors Breakfast will start our day on Wednesday, July 16th. At this event we will be celebrating "85 Years of Disney Magic ". 2008 marks the 85th Anniversary of the founding of the Walt Disney Company; since we are a group of collectors and enthusiasts, we are encouraging people to bring along a special piece from their collection, share a picture, or tell a story of something special you have or remember from the company founded by Walt Disney.

Thursday, July 17th marks the 53rd birthday of "The Happiest Place on Earth", Disneyland. We will take the day off from regular convention activities to enjoy the day just being a kid again and riding all of our favorite attractions.

Friday evening, July 18th, we'll hold the Celebration Banquet. Our theme for this event will be a celebration of the 80th birthday of the little guy and gal that started it all -- Mickey and Minnie Mouse. This year's entertainment will be Dick Hardwick, an alumnus of the Golden Horseshoe Revue; with Dick providing the entertainment, the Banquet promises to be an evening filled with a lot of laughs. Dust off those ears and get ready for a great event! For more information on Dick Hardwick, check out his website at http://www.dickhardwick.com/.

Our Luncheon with a Disney Legend will be held on Saturday, July 19th. Then, on Sunday, July 20th, we will wrap things up with the biggest Disneyana Show and Sale in the country.

The SEC is hard at work confirming speakers and seminar topics for the California Convention; we'll have more details for you as speakers and seminars are confirmed.

So, there you are -- a little taste of what's in store for you during the 2008 California Convention. Start making your plans now to join us in California in July!

Production Update and Poll:

As I mentioned above I am working on a new project and doing preliminary work on a few upcoming titles including: 'Disneyland Classics 4', 'WDW's Tomorrowland Classics' and 'Walt Disney World's Class of 1971'. I'm also considering doing a DVD on Epcot's Flower & Garden festival. I am curious to know if there is any interest in such a project and what you would expect to see on the disc. If anyone would like to share any thoughts please email me at Suggestions@JeffLangeDVD.com. I appreciate all input and really would like to hear from you (and any ideas on what you would like to see on the Disneyland Classics 4 or WDW Tomorrowland Classics as well).

Production Update #2: All New Epcot 'After Dark' 25th Anniversary 2-DVD Set coming soon.

Hello and welcome back for another quick report on the progress of my next DVD release.

Production Update:

I have been working very hard on my latest Epcot 25th Anniversary title Jeff Lange Remembers Epcot 'After Dark' . The two discs have been layed out and final editing has begun. I have spent the last few days working on photo restoration, color correction and dust removal for the Epcot 'After Dark' sideshow that concludes disc two. During the search through my photo archives I came across the following two images of the original IllumiNations globe and fountain screen.

Below is one of my favorite beauty shots of the France Pavilion at sunset plus the current 'IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth' Finale (Once again courtesy of Denise from MouseSteps).

Finally the last few photos of this update are from the original IllumiNations which is presented on my upcoming DVD shot from multiple angles to fully capture every nuance of this Epcot Center classic!

Please check back soon for more details and release information (I hope to have this completed and released by the end of the week!).

As always, if you want to request a future DVD idea, Photo Memory topic or comment on anything, just drop me a line at suggestions@JeffLangeDVD.com.
